About

Anay Kumar Maurya is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in molecular and cellular microbiology. He completed his PhD in Germany, where he investigated mechanisms of host–endosymbiont interactions and microbial biology. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the CNRS in Montpellier, France.

His research interests focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms that govern the biology, development, and intracellular survival of microorganisms. His work combines molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, microscopy, and quantitative imaging approaches to investigate fundamental questions in microbial biology.

A major goal of his work is to understand how cellular events are coordinated during microbial development and how these mechanisms contribute to successful infection and survival.
